Ukiyo-e Redux: Contemporary Japanese Prints

Inspired by the strong tradition of ukiyo-e prints of the 18th and 19th centuries, but infused with a modern sensibility, contemporary Japanese prints have flourished as a vibrant art form throughout the 20th century. This engaging exhibition of color woodblock prints is drawn from the collection of Christina and William Collins and will be featured in the KIA’s new Joy Light Gallery of Asian Art.
